FINAL SCORE Simon Coupe 17 - 21 Jack Dyson
Whoever won the final would become the first player to be dual champion at Rastrick. Jack Dyson won in 2014 and Simon Coupe in 2015. After a steady start to the final by both players, Dyson took control and after a brief fightback by Simon went on to win in style. Along with the winners prize of £1000, Jack also qualified for the Champion of Champions at the Waterloo Hotel in Blackpool this Saturday 23rd Sept where he plays Graeme Wilson who coincidentally was the beaten finalist at Rastrick when Jack won in 2014!
In a short speech, a delighted Jack thanked Clive Wilkinson of Marston's brewery (main sponsor) and Neil Broadbent (Competition Organiser) and everyone else who gives their time to make the competition a success.
Now looking forward to a new format in 2018 (see page).
